BUILDING FUTURE-READY YOUTH FOR A FUTURE-READY NORTHEAST FLORIDA

Junior Achievement of North Florida (JANFL) and Florida State College at Jacksonville (FSCJ) have partnered to create the Junior Achievement Experiential Learning Center (ELC) on FSCJ’s Downtown Campus.

The ELC will be an immersive learning facility where students gain practical skills in financial literacy, career readiness, and entrepreneurship through hands-on JA experiences such as JA BizTown and JA Finance Park. Students will apply what they’re learning in the classroom by making real-world decisions - earning and managing money, budgeting for life expenses, and exploring careers - alongside trained volunteer mentors. Designed to serve approximately 30,000 students each year, the ELC will help strengthen economic mobility across our region while creating a hub for employers and community partners to engage directly with the next generation of talent.
