Ring Power Steps Forward as Signature JA BizTown Partner for JANFL’s New Experiential Learning Center

April 07, 2026

Jacksonville, Fla., April 6, 2026 – Ring Power Corporation has become one of the first Jacksonville-area companies to commit as a signature storefront partner in JA BizTown at Junior Achievement of North Florida’s (JANFL) new Experiential Learning Center (ELC).

A sustaining donor to JANFL for more than a decade, Ring Power is expanding its support through a multi-year partnership that will help deliver immersive, career-connected learning experiences to an estimated 30,000 students annually.

For JANFL, the commitment represents more than a sponsorship—it reflects early leadership from a company deeply rooted in Northeast Florida and closely connected to the industries that power the region’s economy.

“For Jacksonville and the surrounding region, the Experiential Learning Center represents an opportunity to redefine how our community prepares its future workforce,” said Shannon Italia, president of JANFL. “Ring Power stepping forward early sends a powerful signal about the importance of this project for our region’s economic future. Their business sits at the center of many of the industries that build and maintain our communities—from construction and infrastructure to utilities, transportation, and logistics—and all of those sectors depend on a strong pipeline of skilled talent.”

The ELC is expected to break ground later this year at Florida State College at Jacksonville’s Downtown Campus. The center will house JA BizTown and JA Finance Park—nationally recognized Junior Achievement programs that combine classroom curriculum with a one-day immersive simulation experience.

Within JA BizTown, students will visit the Ring Power storefront to learn about the wide range of careers connected to the industries the company supports—from skilled trades and technical careers to engineering, operations, and logistics. The experience will help students understand how businesses work together to support the region’s economy and infrastructure.

“Ring Power is proud to support a project that will create meaningful, hands-on learning experiences for young people across our region,” said David Alban, CEO and president of Ring Power. “The Experiential Learning Center will help students better understand how business, education, and industry connect—and how the skills they are developing today can lead to future opportunities. We are honored to be part of an effort that will have a lasting impact on students, schools, and the future workforce of Northeast Florida.”

Founded in Northeast Florida more than 60 years ago, Ring Power has grown alongside the region it serves, supporting companies across construction, power generation, marine, and other essential industries. The company’s leadership in the Experiential Learning Center reflects its long-standing commitment to strengthening the workforce pipeline that supports both its business and the broader regional economy.

Ring Power will be one of 36 companies represented in the ELC, each helping students explore the many industries that drive Northeast Florida’s economy. These partnerships move JANFL closer to its current goal of raising $5 million needed to break ground later this year, part of a broader $15 million campaign to design, build, and launch the Experiential Learning Center.
